This is similar to the plant cell except it uses the process of oxidation. The metal of the case has many cells that function as batteries reacting with the metal itself - the energy comes from humidity in the atmosphere and from the sweat of the hand - so it is recharged continuously.

This design takes on the photosynthesis process - it involves biometically designed polymer cells within a plastic medium that function and mimic the plant cells - it takes in CO2 from the body skin of the phone and it converts this into energy for the phone - and like the leaf the output is oxygen.
